Questions from therapists

Pre-session notes and client sharing: practical questions

What are pre-session therapy notes?

Pre-session therapy notes are client-authored reflections used to prepare for an upcoming session. Clients can keep journal writing private and intentionally share a specific update when they choose.

Are pre-session notes different from post-session clinical notes?

Yes. Pre-session notes are patient-authored reflection indicators used for session preparation. Post-session notes (like SOAP or DAP notes) are formal clinical documents authored by the human therapist in enodoCare to record the actual intervention and treatment plan.

Where are pre-session notes stored?

Pre-session information is handled through the product's configured workflow. For current data-handling details and contract-specific questions, review the Privacy Policy or contact enodoHealth.
